Countdown to Kickoff Central
Audio interviews with select Flames during Media Day
One day after training camp officially closed, the Flames football team returned to Williams Stadium to host its annual Media Day, Sunday afternoon.
Media Day kicked off with the team photo at 2:30 p.m., at the 20-yard line of the North end zone at Williams Stadium, utilizing the picturesque Williams Football Operations Center as a backdrop for the large group snapshot.
After taking uniform headshots inside the building, the team emerged onto the turf to greet fans and conduct interviews with the local media.
The Flames hosted one of the larger media contingents in recent Media Day history, with the following media organizations represented: Flames Television Network, Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star, Lynchburg News & Advance, WSET-TV, WRVL-Radio and WWMC-Radio.
Besides the television, radio and newspaper interviews conducted with the players and members of the coaching staff, LibertyFlames.com made its way around the stadium, talking with several key components of this year's squad.
