In preparation for the defense of its Big South Football Championship, the Liberty Athletics Department is hitting television and radio outlets in efforts to increase its already record-setting season ticket sales.

Liberty football season ticket ads may be seen on various TV channels, such as ABC 13 WSET, as well as cable channels including BET, Discovery, ESPN, ESPN2, Fox News, FX, Lifetime and Nickelodeon. Liberty also has an ad running on Comcast Spotlight as a cable sponsor of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Over 1,500 spots will be seen locally during the next three weeks. You may view the various television ads by clicking the video links above.

The ads are generated to attract new season ticket holders, as well as those who need to be reminded to renew their seats from last year. Season ticket sales for the 2008 campaign have already passed 1,100, a mark which is twice as many as were sold at this time last year. Sales are on track to set another record for total season tickets, which would mark the third year in a row.

Single-game tickets will go on sale in mid-August, so order your football season tickets today to reserve the best seat location available.

Online ticket sales are coming soon! For more information, call the Flames Ticket Office at 434-582-SEAT (7328), or email them at tickets@liberty.edu.
