Former Liberty men's soccer players Osei Telesford and Darryl Roberts have been named by Trinidad and Tobago head coach Francisco Maturana to his final 18-man squad for Sunday's friendly international with England.

In the contest to be played at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Prince, host Trinidad and Tobago will try to extend its eight-match unbeaten streak.

The two Liberty alums combined for a goal in Trinidad and Tobago's last match, a 2-2 draw with Jamaica on March 26. The goal helped rally the Trinidad and Tobago team from a two-goal deficit in the match, before 20,000 fans at National Stadium in Jamaica.

Telesford was a four-time All-Big South Conference team member during his time with the Flames. Roberts earned Freshman All-American honors in 2003 and finished his career as Liberty's all-time scoring leader with 94 points on 36 goals and 22 assists during his time in a Flames uniform.

"This a great weekend for Darryl, Osei and Liberty University Soccer," commented Flames head coach Jeff Alder. "Having two former players picked for a game of this magnitude is such an honor. I'm thankful that I had an opportunity to be involved in the lives of Darryl and Osei during their time at Liberty."

Roberts formerly played professional soccer for Sparta Rotterdam of the Dutch League, while Telesford is playing for the Puerto Rico Islanders of the United Soccer League's Division I.
