2008 Football Season Tickets are Now on Sale
As the spring football season comes to a close, LibertyFlames.com is proud to announce that season tickets for the 2008 football season are now on sale through the Flames ticket office. Individual game tickets will go on sale at a later date.
A season-long effort by the Flames football team to go from "Good 2 Great" resulted in eight wins and Liberty's first-ever Big South Conference championship in 2007. Danny Rocco was named the league's coach of the year for the second season in a row, after running through the conference schedule with a perfect record. An all-time record 22 Liberty players were honored as all-conference performers. From that outstanding group, 12 return for the Flames this season, including Big South Conference Offensive Player of the Year Rashad Jennings. Fellow first-teamers Brock Smith and Patrick Calvary return to provide valuable leadership for a season that will be marked with high expectations.
When Liberty returns to the field in 2008, Coach Rocco has declared that the Flames have "Unfinished Business" to attend to. The effort to reach a higher level of performance applies to Flames fans as well as the players. For two seasons in a row, attendance records have tumbled as quickly as they have been set, and season ticket sales records are expected to fall again this year. Be sure you get your shot at the best seats in an electrifying game-day atmosphere at Williams Stadium by getting your order in early.
You can order your seats by stopping by the Williams Football Operations Center ticket office, or by calling the Flames ticket office at 434-582-SEAT. You may also click the link at the top of this page for more ticket information, a brochure and order form.
