J'nae Jefferson and the Lady Flames will have to wait until tomorrow to start competition at the Hatter Classic.

Due to inclement weather in the greater Deland area, the first day of the Hatter Classic has been washed out, forcing a change in schedule for the three-day softball tournament.

Liberty (1-7-1) will now have single games against Presbyterian and Stetson, both Saturday and Sunday. Tomorrow, the Lady Flames open the tournament against future Big South foe Presbyterian at 1:30 p.m., while facing the host Hatters at 6:30 p.m.

Sunday's schedule has been altered, with Liberty opening up against the Blue Hose at 9 a.m., followed by the event's final game, which pits the Lady Flames against Stetson at 1 p.m.

All games will be played at Patricia Wilson Field and an audio and video stream will be provided. For more information about the audio and video streams for the entire Hatter Classic, visit www.gohatters.com.
