The Lady Flames will return to action this weekend, when Liberty travels to Greenville, N.C., to participate in the Pirate Clash.

The Lady Flames softball game scheduled for tomorrow against No. 4 Tennessee has been postponed due to inclement weather in the greater Knoxville area. Forecasts show continual bad weather over the next 24 hours.

Liberty (1-2-1) was scheduled to travel to Knoxville, Tenn., tomorrow to face the nationally ranked Lady Vols in a non-conference doubleheader, starting at 5 p.m.

The Lady Flames will have to wait until April 8 to play in the newly completed Sherri Parker Lee Softball Stadium. First pitch for the twinbill is scheduled for 3 p.m.

The Lady Flames will now return to the softball diamond this weekend when Liberty travels to Greenville, N.C., to participate in the Pirate Clash, hosted by East Carolina. Liberty has frequented the event three out of the last four years and will start this year's run with Delaware on Friday at 2 p.m., followed by a match-up with East Carolina at 4 p.m.
