Current Tournament Standings

The Liberty men's golf team sits in sixth place out of 10 squads after two rounds at the Argonaut Invitational, played at the 6,815-yard, par-72 Pensacola Country Club, in Pensacola, Fla., on Monday.

Liberty (586) is sixth, 28 strokes behind first-place West Florida (558), through 36 holes. During the first day of competition, the Flames were led by Nathan Schenz-Davis (142), as the sophomore is tied for fourth at 2 under. Parker McKoy (144) is even and tied for 13th, while Peter Horstman (148) is four over. Andrew Nelson (152) and Jay Calvo (157) round out the Flame five at eight and 13 over, respectively.


Following host West Florida at the top of the pack are Illinois (572), 14 strokes back, and Illinois State (574), 16 strokes back.

Scott Langley (137) of Illinois leads in the battle for medalist honors, at 7 under. Otto Bonning (139) and Tobias Rosendahl (140) of West Florida are on the leader's heels, finishing the first day at 5 and 4 under, respectively.

The Argonaut Invitational concludes with a final round, tomorrow at the 6,815-yard, par-72 Pensacola Country Club.
