Liberty's opening match of the 2007 Big South Volleyball Championship has been shifted from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday evening at the Vines Center. The No. 1 seed Lady Flames will still meet either No. 4 Coastal Carolina or No. 5 Radford, in the second of two semifinal tilts.

The winner of Liberty's semifinal contest will advance to the Big South championship match, slated for a 4 p.m. Saturday start. The Lady Flames enter the tournament at 24-7 overall and 11-1 in conference action, after winning a school-record 14-straight matches to close the regular season. Liberty won a share of its first Big South regular-season title since 2003.

The Big South Volleyball Championship will open with a trio of opening-round matches on Thursday, beginning at 2 p.m. An automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Volleyball Tournament will await the winner of Saturday's championship match.

Saturday, Nov. 17 (Championship Match)
Match 6: Winner of Match 4 vs. Winner of Match 5, 4 p.m.
