Sparky leads the "Beat Coastal" charge.

Fresh off consecutive 40-point scoring performances, the Flames return to Williams Stadium for the middle contest of their final three-game homestand, this Saturday. Liberty hosts three-time defending Big South Conference champion Coastal Carolina in the 3:30 p.m. game, a contest which will position the victor for a run at the 2007 conference crown.

Liberty comes into the game riding a six-game home winning streak, dating back to last year. The Flames hold a 5-3 record on the year and a 1-0 mark in league action, thanks to Liberty's resounding, 50-10 win over Charleston Southern on Oct 20.

Coastal Carolina is coming off a thrilling, 35-28 triumph over VMI, last Saturday, upping the Chanticleers' record to 3-5 overall and 1-0 in the Big South.

School spirit is flying high on the University's campus, with the predominant theme of "Beat Coastal" popping up around Liberty Mountain. Below are pictured just a few of the many ways Liberty's student body is getting behind the football program for this key Big South Conference contest.

Prior to a show in Little Rock, Ark., platinum-selling, Grammy Award-winning recording artist and Liberty alum, TobyMac showed off his "Beat Coastal" t-shirt via a video message at Convocation on Friday.
