Andrea "Andy" Bloodworth is one of two new assistant coaches on the Liberty women's basketball staff this season. LibertyFlames.com recently sat down with Bloodworth, to inquire about her first impressions of the 2007-08 Lady Flames, among other things.

Bloodworth, who hails from a family of basketball coaches, came to Liberty from Valparaiso, where she spent two years as the Crusaders' recruiting coordinator. In addition to her experience as recruiting coordinator at Valparaiso, Bloodworth filled the same role at Gannon, a NCAA Division II school located in Erie, Pa. As a result, Lady Flames head coach Carey Green is utilizing her recruiting experience and expertise in her new position at Liberty.
