Nathan Schenz-Davis has been named the Big South Conference Choice Hotels co-Men's Golfer of the Week for events played Sept. 10-19.

Schenz-Davis (R-So., San Diego, Calif.) finished third overall in the season opening Troy Invitational, Sept. 10-11, with a 5-over par 221 (73-74-74), 10 shots behind the medalist. Schenz-Davis' performance helped the Flames secure a third place finish, one stroke behind second place Troy and seven shots behind the winning team, New Orleans.

The tournament served as Schenz-Davis' first collegiate competition since the Old Dominion Seascape Collegiate in October of 2005.

Schenz-Davis shared honors with Herve Gevers of Charleston Southern, who finished with an identical 221 at the Raines Development Group Intercollegiate.

The Flames hit the links again Oct. 1-2, at the VCU Shootout. The tournament will be played at the Matiponi Springs Golf Club in Richmond, Va.
