Rocco and McKay Headline Flames Club Luncheon on September 28
The Flames Club will continue the 2007-08 luncheon series on September 28 at Noon in the Williams Football Operations Center Donor Room. Football head coach Danny Rocco and men's basketball head coach Ritchie McKay will be the featured speakers.

Rocco will provide an early season update and preview the next evening's game against St. Francis. McKay will review the team's recent trip to Canada and offer a glimpse of what to expect in his first season on the bench.

Men's soccer head coach Jeff Alder will also speak at the luncheon, touching on his squad's strong start.

The Flames Club serves as the booster organization for Liberty University Athletics and meets once a month on a designated Friday during the athletics season. The luncheons run from Noon to 1:30 p.m. and a buffet lunch is provided for a $10 cover charge or $8 if purchased by 5 p.m. on Monday, September 24. There is a $2 cover charge for those attending but not purchasing the buffet meal. Select coaches speak each week, giving insight into the progress of their programs and taking questions from those present.

Discount advance tickets are available for each luncheon, and season passes may be purchased for all eight remaining luncheons scheduled for only $56. Season passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Tickets and season passes may be purchased by calling 582-SEAT e-mailing tickets@liberty.edu, or by visiting the Hancock Ticket Office.

The luncheons are sponsored by UBS Financial Services, with door prizes provided by the Liberty University Bookstore. The 2007-08 Flames Club luncheon series schedule is as follows:
