Jay Calvo sits at three-over par after two rounds.
The Flames, participating in their first tournament of the year, were just one shot behind the leader, host Troy, after shooting a team 293 in round one. Liberty then struggled in round two, falling to third with an overall team score of 592. The Flames trail New Orleans (585), the leader, by seven shots and second place Troy (589), by three shots.
Nathan Schenz-Davis (73-74) and Jay Calvo (74-73) each sit at three-over par after two rounds with a 147. Parker McKoy (74-75) finished at five-over par with a 149, while Sang Chun (72-80) sits at eight-over at 152. Rounding out the Flame five is Andrew Nelson (75-80), who finished at 11-over with a 155. Peter Horstman (77-71) is participating as an individual, finishing round two at four-over with a 148.
The Troy Invitational concludes tomorrow at the 6,800-yard, par-72 Blue Lagoon Course.
