The Countdown to Kickoff campaign continues to bring a variety of stories, interviews and informative reports. Today, we continue our assistant coach features with the sixth of 10 audio interviews during our meeting with quarterback coach and passing game coordinator Brandon Streeter.

During today's interview, Streeter gives us a deep look inside the quarterback position, detailing the progress of junior hurler Brock Smith. The team captain is coming off a solid 2006 campaign, which helped him earn Big South preseason all-conference honors. Streeter also talks about the development of Spencer Landis and newcomer Mike Brown, detailing how this year's signal callers are meshing with the wide receivers during training camp.

Today's interview with Streeter was originally scheduled for next Monday, but was moved up to allow for further development of LibertyFlames.com's next feature article. On Monday, the Countdown to Kickoff campaign will take you deep inside training camp, as we give you practically a minute-by-minute look into a two-a-day schedule.

LibertyFlames.com will dispel the rumor that a student-athlete's life is easy as we breakdown the lengthy day for our players. The day starts early, 7 a.m. for breakfast, and concludes with curfew at 11 p.m., with little down time from the morning until bedtime.

Tomorrow, LibertyFlames.com will bring you a practice report, following the squad's heavy special teams practice. The practice session is scheduled to start at 2:20 p.m. and run until 5 p.m. on the turf at Williams Stadium. On Sunday, LibertyFlames.com will be covering Liberty's Media Day, starting at 3 p.m. with the team photo in front of the Williams Football Operations Center.

Our next audio interview on the schedule is slated for Wednesday when LibertyFlames.com will visit with offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Scott Wachenheim.
