Season tickets for Liberty's upcoming football campaign have soared over the 1,000 mark for the first time in program history.

Season tickets for Liberty's upcoming football campaign have soared over the 1,000 mark for the first time in program history.

For the first time in program history, Liberty's football season tickets have eclipsed the 1,000-ticket mark as announced by the Flames Ticket Office earlier today.

Last weekend, LibertyFlames.com's Countdown to Kickoff campaign reported that the premium seating area, atop the west stands, was nearly sold out with approximately 50 season tickets left in the 660-seat area.

Now, the Flames Ticket Office has announced Liberty has surpassed the 1,000-ticket plateau with 1,005 season tickets claimed as of earlier this afternoon, helping to shatter previous season ticket sales.

Just two years ago, Liberty sold 132 season tickets for the 2005 campaign, while the beginning of the Danny Rocco era in 2006 saw year-end season ticket sales swell to a then program-record 413.
Fans wishing to purchase season tickets can do so by calling the Flames Ticket Office on Monday through Friday, during normal business hours at (434) 582-SEAT (7328).

Season tickets for the premium area are priced at $72.00 for six games, followed by $52.00 for reserved seating. General admission season tickets are priced at $35.00. The Flames Athletic Department also offers a Family Plan for $150.00, giving fans four reserved season tickets for each home game.

Group and single-game tickets are also available by contacting the Flames Ticket Office or by visiting LibertyFlames.com, where you can view pricing under the Tickets section.
