The Countdown to Kickoff campaign continues to bring a variety of stories, interviews and informative reports. Today we continue our assistant coach features with the third of 10 audio interviews during our meeting with linebackers' coach Robert Wimberly.

Wimberly gave insight to the success of the 3-4 defense in 2006 and its effectiveness as the Flames set eight defensive school records. Fans will get to hear about the excitement surrounding Vince Redd and the new leadership roll of Stevie Ray Lloyd, who has stepped up since the graduation of Manny Rojas. Wimberly speaks on the strong play of Brandon Duke and Nick Hursky, as well as, a few up-an-comers expected to see time behind the experience pre-mentioned four.

The next audio interview on the schedule is slated for Tuesday when LibertyFlames.com will visit with defensive coordinator Tom Clark.
