Liberty claimed seven Big South Team Sportsmanship Awards during the 2006-07 athletics season.

Liberty University's athletics teams led all Big South Conference member institutions by capturing seven out of 18 Team Sportsmanship Awards during the 2006-07 athletics season.

Each Team Sportsmanship Award was voted on by Big South student-athletes and awarded at the end of each season of competition. Teams cannot vote for themselves and each institution votes for its top three programs. Teams receive three points for a first-place ranking, two points for a second-place ranking and one point for a third-place ranking.

Liberty's running programs accounted for six of the Flames' Team Sportsmanship Award honorees with both men's and women's cross country, indoor track and outdoor track programs being named conference honorees. Rounding out Liberty's other Big South team award winner was the Lady Flames volleyball program.

The Flames dominated the Big South Team Sportsmanship Award throughout the year with VMI following behind Liberty with four team honorees (baseball, men's basketball, football and men's soccer). Below is a complete sport-by-sport listing of the 2006-07 Big South Team Sportsmanship Award winners:
