For the second consecutive season, Liberty senior Jonita Randolph has been voted to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Women's Tennis University Division All-State second-team roster.

William & Mary swept the major awards, as Megan Moulton-Levy was named Player of the Year, teammate Ragini Acharya was tabbed Rookie of the Year and Kevin Epley won Coach of the Year honors in the Commonwealth.

Randolph (Townville, S.C.), the 2007 Big South Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Year, finished her career with 57 all-time singles victories, the most ever by a Liberty men's or women's tennis player. As a senior, the three-time all-conference selection in both singles and doubles went 16-1 overall at No. 1 singles, including an unblemished 7-0 mark in conference action. She and Martyna Hanusz (Jr., Stalowa Wola, Poland) also teamed up for an 8-6 season at No. 1 doubles.

Randolph has also earned a number of awards for her academic prowess. She was a three-time Big South All-Academic team selection and was included on the 2007 VaSID Academic All-State team. One of two Big South athletes nominated for the 2007 NCAA Woman of the Year award, Randolph received the 2005-06 National Collegiate Minority Leadership Award, sponsored by the United States Achievement Academy.
