Flames Are 8 out of 12 Teams After Two Rounds At Rutherford Intercollegiate
Host Penn State is in first place after day one of the Rutherford Intercollegiate at the newly-renovated 7,228-yard, par-72 Penn State Blue Course in University Park, Pa. The Nittany Lions shot a 578 (289-289) through two rounds to hold the 16-stroke lead over second place Austin Peay State (594).

Rounding out the first day in third and fourth place respectively was Eastern Kentucky (595) and Princeton (605). Liberty finished day one in eighth place after shooting a 617 (314-303).

Grant Leaver of Austin Peay leads the individuals as he finished day one at two-under par with a 142. Kevin Foley and Chad Bricker of Penn State are tied for second, one-stroke off the lead at one-under par. Robert Rohanna of Penn State and Jesse Massie of Eastern Kentucky are tied for fourth and sit at even at the end of two rounds.

Parker McKoy (151) leads Liberty at seven-over par after shooting one-under in round two. Jay Calvo (153) shot even in round two to finish nine-over after two rounds. Michael Turner (156) is 12-over while Andrew Nelson (158) sits at 14-over par. Peter Horstman (163) rounds out the Flames' squad at 19-over par.

The third and final round will conclude on Sunday at the par-72, 7,228 yard Penn State Blue Course.
