Livia Branco and the rest of her returning teammates will welcome new additions Jordan Jenkins and Hannah Fick for the 2007-08 season.

Liberty University Women's Tennis Coach Chris Johnson has announced the commitment of two players, Jordan Jenkins and Hannah Fick, to play for the Lady Flames for the 2007-08 academic year.

"We are excited to have both of these players joining us next semester," Johnson offered. "Both are very talented and have long histories of success."

Both Jenkins and Fick come to Liberty with impressive resumes. Fick, ranked in the top 400 internationally at one point, has achieved a position as high as No. 5 in the New Zealand rankings. Jenkins, who has climbed as high as No. 2 in the United States' junior rankings, posted a key victory in the doubles ranks at the 2001 USTA Super National Clay Court Championships. Jenkins is also a five-star athlete, according to the website, tennisrecruiting.net.

The two new players will look to help bolster a Lady Flame singles line-up expected to have seven of this campaign's eight players return for next season. Liberty will aim to build upon its recently completed 5-12 season.

"With the talented players we have, we are looking forward to an outstanding year," Johnson stated.
