Liberty is tied for fourth after day one of PUPS Big South Championship.
Charleston Southern sits 10-strokes off the lead with a 302 while Liberty and Radford are tied for fourth with 307.
Dustin Johnson and Zack Byrd of Coastal Carolina each shot a 71 to lead individuals. Brent Martin of Winthrop is one stroke back after shooting a 72. There is a four way tie for fourth place and two-strokes off the lead are Robert Lindstrom of Birmingham Southern, Shawn Hall of Charleston Southern, Kelly Manders of Winthrop and Ryan Wilson of High Point.
Liberty is 15-strokes behind the leader after day one. Parker McKoy and Michael Turner led the way after both shooting 76 and tying for 11th. Jay Calvo shot a 77 while Stephen Hawk and Andrew Nelson round out the Flame five with a 78 and 79 respectively.
Round two will take place tomorrow with the first tee times starting at 8:30 a.m. local time at the par-74, 6,987 yard Limestone Springs Golf Course.
