Big South Football Media Day Set for Thursday
The Big South Conference will officially kick off its 13th season of football this week when the league hosts its annual Big South Football Media Day event in Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday.
Following a golf outing involving both coaches, players, athletics administrators and media representatives on Wednesday at the Ballantyne Resort Golf Club, the working portion of Big South Football Media Day will transition Charlotte Marriott City Center.
The Media Day event will start with the kickoff luncheon, during which the Big South annual preseason all-conference teams and poll will be announced.
In addition, all seven Big South head football coaches will speak at the luncheon and the preseason Players of the Year will be recognized. The preseason poll, preseason all-conference teams and preview video will be available online at www.BigSouthSports.com starting at 1:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
The Big South Network presented by State Farm will broadcast interviews with each team's head coach and student-athletes as part of a live show hosted by Mike Hogewood starting at approximately 1:30 p.m. Additionally, ESPN3 will carry the event for the first time.
The following student-athletes are confirmed as attending, and will also be recognized throughout the day.
