As Americans around the country celebrate Independence Day today, Liberty Athletics would like to thank all those brave men and women who have served in the armed forces to protect our freedoms.

Annually, Liberty Athletics hosts a Military Appreciation Day game at one of its football games in November around Veterans Day.

The video provided here is the full halftime show from Liberty's 2013 Military Appreciation Day, which thrilled more than 18,000 people who attended Liberty's game against VMI on Nov. 2.

Liberty will hosts its annual Military Appreciation Day in 2014 when the Flames welcome Big South newcomer Monmouth to Williams Stadium on Nov. 8 (3:30 p.m.).

For ticketing information for this contest and the rest of Liberty's six-home game slate, please contact the Flames Ticket Office at (434) 582-SEAT (7328) or by email at tickets@liberty.edu.
