Jaymee Fisher-Davis scored a team-high 10 points during Liberty's 47-18 semifinal triumph over ASA Tel Aviv, Saturday at the Friendship Games.

On Saturday, Liberty recorded its third consecutive comfortable victory at the 2014 Friendship Games. The Lady Flames defeated the host team, ASA Tel Aviv, by a 47-18 count in their semifinal tilt. With the win, Liberty advances to the Friendship Games championship game against Germany on Monday. The Lady Flames will seek their second Friendship Games title in five years, after claiming the 2010 championship. Emily Stotmeister recaps the game and a fun-filled afternoon on the Red Sea.

Hello Everyone!!

We are coming to the end of day eight of our trip to Israel and what an exciting time it has been! From walking where Jesus walked to playing basketball against teams around the world, every minute has been greater than the next. I thank God that I can be a part of this wonderful opportunity with amazing girls and staff!

Today we played against Tel Aviv in the semifinal game. We were victorious and will now move on to play Germany on Monday for the championship. After our game, we were able to watch one of the semifinal men's games. Lithuania defeated Israel-Eilat, advancing them to play in the championship as well.

After the basketball, the Friendship Games held an afternoon full of water tubing, dancing and fellowship for all the players on a yacht on the Red Sea. The water was a crystal, clear blue that reflected the beautiful landscape of the blue sky and desert mountains. In one direction we could see the country of Jordan, another Israel, and in the distance, Egypt.

While on the yacht, we slid down a slide into the water and participated in tubing behind speedboats. Most of the team went together and for Ashley and Jasmine, it was their first time tubing! It was so thrilling to be going fast while getting ripped around by the boat! Because of all the salt, we could not open our eyes or mouths so we were going on faith and feeling on where we were going. A couple people fell off, (myself included) but everyone was safe and injury-free for the afternoon which is always great news! Besides water activities, players also danced and enjoyed their fellowship with others.

Finally, after coming back from the Red Sea, we had dinner at the hotel and washed the salt off to finish the night with card games and one of our favorite team games, Evolution, with a few friends from Jordan!

So that wraps up day eight on this unforgettable trip. I hope you have enjoyed the posts so far and the future ones to come!

God Bless and Shalom!!!!
