Liberty's men's tennis doubles tandem of Dillon Segur and Egon Samaai were tabbed to the 2014 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) All-State Men's Tennis University Division second team. The duo becomes the first Flames' doubles pair to earn VaSID all-state recognition.

Segur and Samaai's all-state honor is their second postseason award of the 2014 season. The tandem also earned a Big South All-Conference doubles team nod. Samaai and Segur notched a team-best 12-5 record this spring, including a 6-2 mark in Big South play. The duo finished 7-3 in their last ten matches of the year.

Virginia senior Alex Domijan, an ITA All-American and the 2014 ACC Player of the Year, was named the VaSID State Player of the Year, while Cavalier head coach Brian Boland was named the State Coach of the Year. Virginia freshman Thai-Son Kwiatkowski took home the State Rookie of the Year award.
