The Liberty Flames Sports Network was on hand for the 2014 Liberty Twilight Qualifier at the Matthes-Hopkins Track Complex and produced a package of highlights for the TV show Game On.

The meet featured two new facility records, as Liberty freshman Zach Davis high jumped 7-0.25 and Campbell assistant coach Ryan Grinnell triple jumped 52-10.25.

Olympic medalist Bershawn "Batman" Jackson thrilled the crowd with an impressive victory in the men's 400 hurdles (49.63), while Nike's Barbara Pierre sped to her fourth Liberty Twilight Qualifier women's 100 title (11.15).

Davis was one of Liberty's four event champions, joining Jacob DeValve (men's shot put, 56-3.25), Christieanna Apon (women's 800, 2:14.74) and Janae Jones (women's triple jump, 41-0.25).

Additionally, John Sherret (men's 800) and Constand Van Rooyen (men's shot put) posted last-chance IC4A qualifiers.
