The Liberty Flames are ranked as high as No. 22 nationally, as the Flames were listed in three national NCAA Division I baseball polls released today.

Liberty, 35-10, makes its first-ever appearance in the Baseball America Top 25.  The Flames are ranked No. 22 in the poll. Meanwhile, Liberty is ranked No. 25 in the USA Today Coaches poll and No. 29 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers (NCBWA) poll, while being listed No. 30 for the second consecutive week in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll.

Liberty, which won its 17th straight Big South Conference contest with a 4-3 win over UNC Asheville yesterday, takes a nine-day break for exams.  The Flames return to action on May 7, when they travel to Charlottesville, Va., for a contest against the Virginia Cavaliers, who are ranked No. 1 in several polls.
