LFSN Game On Virginia Cup Recap

Steve Feister won the men's javelin title at Saturday's Virginia Cup and qualified for the IC4A meet with his winning throw of 200-9.

The Liberty Flames Sports Network was on hand for Saturday's Virginia Cup at Lannigan Field in Charlottesville, Va., and produced a package of highlights for the TV show Game On.

The Liberty men's squad went 4-0 in its Saturday dual meets, highlighted by a 75-73 victory over host Virginia. Meanwhile, the Lady Flames were 4-1 on the day, including wins over Big South foe Radford and James Madison.

On the day, Liberty won 11 event titles, while recording three new IC4A-qualifying performances and four new ECAC-qualifying efforts.
