• Liberty enters Friday's contest having won a season-high six straight games and nine out of its last 10 contests.
•  During its six-game winning streak, Liberty's pitching has posted a 1.29 ERA and held opponents to a .194 batting average. The Flames have only allowed 11 runs (1.83 runs per game) during the winning streak.
• Liberty is 6-2 at home this season.  The Flames have won four straight contests at Liberty Baseball Stadium.
• Liberty is 8-1 so far in March this season.  The Flames are 387-295-2 (.566) all-time during the month and 81-44 (.648) under head coach Jim Toman.
• For the ninth time in its 24 years as a member of the Big South Conference and for the
second straight season, Liberty will start conference play at home. Liberty is 36-29 in Big South opening three-game series.
•  The last time the two teams met, Liberty defeated Campbell, 2-1, to captured the 2013 Big South title and the conference's automatic bid to a NCAA Regional on May 25 at Liberty Baseball Stadium

standings by the conference's head coaches in the league's annual preseason poll.

Tracking Liberty
• Liberty enters Friday's contest having won a season-high six straight games and nine out of its last 10 contests.
• This past Tuesday, Liberty defeated Elon, 4-2, behind LHP Jared Lyons, who pitched seven strong innings, allowing two runs.
•  During its six-game winning streak, Liberty's pitching has posted a 1.29 ERA and held opponents to a  .194 batting average. The Flames have only allowed 11 runs (1.83 runs per game) during the winning streak.
• Liberty is hitting .294 and scoring an average of seven runs per game during its win streak.
• Over their past 10 games, Liberty has hit .303 as team and outscored opponents, 63-17.  The Flames' lone loss during the span was a 4-3 setback to Ball State on March 2.
• Last weekend, the Flames swept a three-game series from Kent State at Liberty Baseball Stadium to run their home record to 6-2 on the year.

Player Notes
• INF Ryan Seiz leads the Flames in batting average (.418), runs (19), home runs (3) and slugging percentage (.672).
• 1B/C Alex Close went 3-for-4 with four RBIs in a 6-2 win over Kent State in game one of doubleheader, last Saturday.
• He leads the Flames with 20 RBIs and a .522 batting average with runners in scoring position.
Dalton Britt has spent time at both shortstop and third base this season for the Flames.  The sophomore has started the last three games at shortstop.
• Will Shepherd has started the last five games as Liberty's right fielder. He had two hits and an RBI in Tuesday's win at Elon. He enters the weekend with a six-game hit streak.
• C Danny Grauer had two hits, including a two-run double in a 4-2 win at Elon, Tuesday.
• Grauer has a hit in six consecutive games.
• LHP Jared Lyons allowed only two hits over seven innings in his first start of the year at Duke, 3/5.  He struck out a career-high 10 batters in the contest.
• The LHP followed that start up by allowing two runs on five hits over seven innings in win at Elon, Tuesday.
• Lyons leads the Flames with 27 strikeouts.
• RHP Ashton Perritt recorded his team-leading sixth save of the season, Tuesday at Elon.
• RHP Trey Lambert ran his record to 3-1, last Saturday.  Lambert pitched seven-plus innings, in 6-2 win over Kent State in game one of a doubleheader.
• RHP Parker Bean moved his record to 3-1 on the season in Liberty's 4-2 win over Kent State in game two of a doubleheader, Saturday.  The freshman allowed two runs over a career-high eight innings.  He struck out five batters.
