• After sweeping a three-game series from Kent State at Liberty Baseball Stadium, Liberty enters the week having won five straight contests and eight of its last nine games.
• Liberty is now 6-2 at Liberty Baseball Stadium, this season.
• The Flames have won their last two road contests, one a neutral site win over Missouri and one an extra innings win over Duke, last Tuesday.  Liberty enters the week with a 5-4 record away from Lynchburg in 2014.

• He leads the Flames with a .571 batting average with runners in scoring position.
• RF Will Shepherd had two hits and drove in the go-ahead run with a double in the seventh innings in Liberty's 4-2 victory over Kent State, Saturday.
• Shepherd recorded two hits and scored a run in his fourth start of the year in right field, last Tuesday at Duke.
• INF Dalton Britt drove in a career-high four RBIs in win over Ball St., 3/2.
• The 3B also drove in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning with his second single of the game in 2-1 win over Missouri, 2/25.
• LHP Shawn Clowers recorded the win in Liberty's 8-2 win in 11 innings at Duke, last
Tuesday. Not only did he pitched two scoreless innings, but he also added an RBI single in his first collegiate at bat in the 11th inning.
• Clowers gave Liberty a solid relief effort in his first appearance of the year against Ohio, 2/23.  The LHP did not allow a run, scattering four hits over 4 2/3 innings. He struck out four and did not walk a batter.
• LHP Jared Lyons allowed only two hits over seven innings in his first start of the year at Duke, last Tuesday.  He struck out a career-high 10 batters in the contest.
• RHP Trey Lambert ran his record to 3-1, last Saturday.  Lambert pitched seven-plus innings, in 6-2 win over Kent State in game one of a doubleheader.
• RHP Parker Bean moved his record to 3-1 on the season in Liberty's 4-2 win over Kent State in game two of a doubleheader, Saturday.  The freshman allowed two runs over a career-high eight innings.  He struck out five batters.
