Day Two Meet Recap

The Liberty swimming & diving team enters day three on Friday at the 2014 CCSA Swimming and Diving Championships in first place, with 264 points.

On day two, the Lady Flames recorded four podium finishes (one relay, three individual), one event victory, 13 lifetime bests, two program records, one CCSA record, one meet record, and two NCAA B cuts.

Friday's morning program features preliminary heats of the 400 individual medley, 100 butterfly, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke and 100 backstroke. The top 16 preliminary times in each event will qualify for tonight's finals. There will also be "B" heats of the 400 medley relay this morning.

Today's action will feature pool-side, live blog coverage as the Lady Flames compete in Knoxville. Look for coverage to begin shortly before the 10 a.m. prelims start with an interactive blog, where all are invited to interact with questions and comments.
