• Liberty is one of three teams in this weekend's Buffalo Wild Wings Battle at the Beach. The
Flames will be joined by Ohio and host UNCW.
• The Flames will face Ohio twice and UNCW twice.  Liberty will play two games on Friday against both teams. Before facing Ohio on Saturday and UNCW on Sunday in single games.
• The last time Liberty played at UNCW's Brooks Stadium, Liberty won three games at the Hughes Brothers Challenge, Feb. 26-28, 2010.
• Liberty will be meeting Ohio for the first time on the baseball diamond in program history this weekend, while the Flames have met UNCW 10 times.

Player Notes
• 1B/DH Ryan Seiz collected three hits and drove in two runs against Old Dominion, Tuesday.
• Seiz joined the Liberty roster after transferring from Louisville in 2013. Seiz has had a hit in every game and leads the Flames in batting average and RBIs.
• Seiz belted his first home run as a Flame and scored three times in Liberty's win over
Richmond, last Sunday.
• OF Nick Lacik had at least one hit in each of Liberty's four games.
• Lacik hit . 417 and collected two two-hit games, last weekend.
• SS Clay Keranen has collected back-to-back two hit contest. He had two hits and scored a run vs. Old Dominion, Tuesday, while recording two hits, a double and a RBI in win vs. Richmond, this past Sunday.
• OF/P Ashton Perritt had four hits and stole a team-leading three bases last weekend at the UNF Best Bet Tournament. He also recorded a save with two scoreless innings against
Richmond, this past Sunday.
• Perritt has been named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and the Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Preseason All-American teams as an utility player (two-way player).
• INF Dalton Britt had at least one hit in all three of Liberty games last weekend (.417) and collected two two-hit contests.
Jake Kimble and Nick Salisbury have split the starts at second base this season.
• LHP Blake Fulghum leads the Flames innings pitched entering the weekend.
• In Fulghum's first start on Tuesday, he gave up four runs on eight hits over six innings against Old Dominion.
• He pitched 4 2/3 innings of scoreless relief in his first appearance of the season against USF, last Saturday.
• LHP Jared Lyons made two appearances this last weekend. He recorded the win in
Liberty's win over Richmond, Sunday.
Jake Kimble and Nick Salisbury have split the starts at second base this season.
• RHP Trey Lambert started opening day for the Flames and took the loss, last Friday.  
• Last season, Lambert returns for his senior year, after leading Liberty and tying for the third in the Big South with eight wins.
• Freshman RHP Parker Bean allowed two runs on seven hits over 4 1/3 innings in his first collegiate start against USF last Saturday.

• The last time Liberty played at UNCW's Brooks Stadium, Liberty won three games at the Hughes Brothers Challenge, Feb. 26-28, 2010.
• Liberty will play in three tournaments this season. The Flames have already taken part in the UNF Best Bet Tournament, Feb. 14-16, and will host the Liberty Invitational, Feb. 1 at the Liberty Baseball Stadium.
