The Flames Sports Hotline, a weekly radio call-in show, returns to the airwaves this evening at 7 p.m. at Doc's Diner.

New this year, the Flames Sports Hotline will air weekly on the ESPNinVA network, which includes the following ESPN Radio stations in the Central Virginia area: 93.3 FM (Lynchburg), 106.3 FM (Danville), 1240 AM (Roanoke), 1320 AM (Lynchburg) and 1350 AM (Bedford).

Alan York, the radio "Voice of the Flames," hosts the call-in show, which will feature head men's basketball coach Dale Layer, junior forward Andrew Smith and head women's basketball coach Carey Green live at Doc's Diner.

Layer and the Flames look to bounce back from a 76-70 defeat at home against High Point, this past Saturday. The Flames will head to Farmville, Va., on Wednesday for a meeting with Longwood. Game time is slated for 7 p.m.

The Lady Flames also hope to rebound from an 83-80 setback at UNC Asheville. Green's squad returns to the Vines Center to host Longwood, Thursday, at 7 p.m., with the contest streaming live on ESPN3 and the Big South Network.

After the first few segments, York will open up the phone lines and field questions from the radio listening audience. Fans may call in at (877) 401-9041 to participate in the weekly show.

Those not able to participate in the call-in portion of the show can also email their questions to LFSN@liberty.edu, prior to the start of the show.

Flames Nation fans can listen to the show locally by tuning their radio dials to any of the ESPNinVA network of stations in the Central Virginia area. The show will also air live online at LibertyFlames.com and can be heard by clicking on the link above.
