LibertyFlames.com continues its countdown of the Top 10 Moments of 2013 for Liberty Athletics today, looking at No. 7, Jacy Christiansen's late-race charge in the 5K race.

On April 20 at the Matthes-Hopkins Track Complex, Big South rivals Liberty and Coastal Carolina traded the lead in the women's standings back and forth throughout the final day of the Big South Outdoor Track Championships.

The lead changed hands one last time when Christiansen moved from the middle of the field to finish third in the 5K women's race. Her third-place finish, coupled with a second-place finish by teammate Khristina Kanagy, pushed the Lady Flames ahead for good, giving Liberty the narrowest margin of victory among the Lady Flames' 13 Big South outdoor team titles and its first win at this meet since 2010.

The men's team completed the Liberty sweep on the day and a "Triple Crown" sweep (men's cross country, men's indoor track and men's outdoor track) on the same day with a dominant 82-point victory over Coastal Carolina. For the men's team, it was their 18th Big South title in 20 years.

LibertyFlames.com will continue its countdown of the Top 10 Moments of 2013 tomorrow with a look at Moment No. 6. Be sure to check back with LibertyFlames.com each weekday from now until Dec. 31, as we reflect on the Top 10 moments that made 2013 so great for Liberty Athletics.
