LibertyFlames.com continues its countdown of the Top 10 Moments of 2013 for Liberty Athletics today, looking at No. 8, Devon Brown scoring her 2,000th career point against Purdue.

Brown doubled Liberty's 2,000th career point scorer club when the senior guard from Waynesboro, Va., hit a contested bank shot from the right block with 1:17 left in Liberty's NCAA Tournament first round game against No. 4 seed Purdue on March 24.

Brown, who finished her career with 2,001 career points, joined Elena Kisseleva (2,154 career points) as the only other player in program history to score 2,000 career points.

Brown's historic basket was scored during Liberty's 15th appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Liberty punched its ticket to the "Big Dance" after winning the Big South Women's Basketball Championship in Conway, S.C., its 15th conference title in the last 17 seasons.
