The Flames Sports Hotline, a weekly radio call-in show, returns to the airwaves this evening at 7 p.m. Due to the winter break, the show will take place at the WRVL Studio instead of Doc's Diner.

New this year, the Flames Sports Hotline will air weekly on the ESPNinVA network, which includes the following ESPN Radio stations in the Central Virginia area: 93.3 FM (Lynchburg), 106.3 FM (Danville), 1240 AM (Roanoke), 1320 AM (Lynchburg) and 1350 AM (Bedford).

Alan York, the radio "Voice of the Flames," hosts the call-in show, which will feature head men's basketball coach Dale Layer and redshirt senior center Joel Vander Pol.

The Flames will host Howard tomorrow night at 7 p.m., before heading to Furman for a meeting with the Paladins on Friday at 7 p.m. Both contests will be broadcasted live on the Liberty Flames Sports Network, the Big South Network, Comcast Sports South, ESPN3 and MASN.

After the first few segments, York will open up the phone lines and field questions from the radio listening audience or those seated inside Doc's Diner. Fans unable to make it out to Doc's Diner each Monday night may call in at (877) 401-9041 to participate in the weekly show.

Those not able to participate in the call-in portion of the show can also email their questions to LFSN@liberty.edu, prior to the start of the show.

Flames Nation fans can listen to the show locally by tuning their radio dials to any of the ESPNinVA network of stations in the Central Virginia area. The show will also air live online at LibertyFlames.com and can be heard by clicking on the link above.
