Louisville Wins Xavier's Mission Inn Collegiate While Liberty Finishes 13 out of 16
Louisville maintained their 14-stroke lead over UNC Greensboro to take home the championship of Xavier's Mission Inn Collegiate Invitational at the El Campeon Golf Club in Howie in the Hills, Fla.

Wichita State and Marquette tied for third-place, 22-strokes behind Louisville. Host Xavier and Old Dominion tied for fifth-place 25-strokes off the leader.

Mike Van Sickle of Marquette entered the day as the leader and was able to maintain a narrow one-stroke lead over Nathan Stamey of UNC Greensboro to secure medalist honors at four-under par. Daryl Fathauer and Adam Hadwin of Louisville tied for third at two-under par.

Liberty finished the tournament 13th out of 16 teams as they finished at 906. The Flames were led by Jay Calvo who shot 73 in all three rounds to finish tied for 18th at three-over par. Stephen Hawk finished tied for 40th at 10-over par. Manuel Moreno and Josh Bain finished at 12-over and 20-over respectively. Peter Horstman rounded out the Flame five at 26-over par.

Liberty returns to action on Monday when they host their Spring Invite in Savannah, Ga. Liberty will have two teams playing in the two-day/36 hole event.
