Liberty men's basketball captured the Big South Tournament championship and bid to the NCAA Tournament last March. The excitement around the program has led to season ticket sales being the best since the 2009-10 campaign.

Head coach Dale Layer is in his fifth year with the program, returning four starters from last year's squad – JR Coronado, Tomasz Gielo, Davon Marshall and John Caleb SandersAntwan Burrus, a 2011-12 starter, also returned for his final year after missing the entire 2012-13 campaign due to injury.

The Flames opened the season at Vines Center with a 74-53 victory over Randolph College on Nov. 8 in front of 7,043 fans.  The attendance mark is the highest at the Vines Center since Liberty squared off with Clemson in front of 8,143 spectators on Nov. 17, 2009.

Liberty has 14 home games remaining on the schedule.  Liberty's next game at the Vines Center is on Nov. 16 against Western Carolina at 7:30 p.m.  The Flames will also host UNCW on Nov. 18 at 7 p.m.

Season tickets remain available to purchase at prorated prices through the Flames Ticket Office, located at the Vines Center, by calling 434-582-SEAT (7328) or visiting the above link. Contact the Flames Club by calling 434-582-CLUB (2582) for reserved, club or courtside season tickets.
