Ezra Talbert (center) has signed a National Letter of Intent for the 2014-15 academic year.

Head Liberty Men's Basketball Coach Dale Layer has announced the signing of Ezra Talbert for the 2014-15 academic year.

Talbert (F, 6-8, 190, Olathe, Kansas) averaged 14.0 points and eight rebounds at Olathe East High School, during his junior season. Regarded as a quality spot up shooter, the forward concluded the year shooting 56.0 percent (115-of-206) and 41.0 percent (13-of-32) from three-point land. In addition to his high school experience, Talbert also played AAU basketball with KC Run GMC. Talbert chose Liberty over Creighton, San Diego, Loyola Marymount, North Dakota, UMKC and Drake.

"Ezra is a highly skilled, competitive, smart player who can play both forward positions," Layer stated. "He is a guy we have tracked for several years. He plays for terrific high school and AAU programs and fits Liberty Basketball in every way. We are excited about Ezra's future here."
