Flames Fall to Gardner-Webb

The Liberty Flames men's tennis team fell to defeat at the hands of the Gardner-Webb Bulldogs Saturday afternoon, 7-0. 

The Bulldogs captured the doubles point despite two of the three matches being closely contested. In singles, Gardner-Webb won all six matches played. With the win, the Bulldogs capture their second straight match, and now have a record of 3-8 on the season. 

With the loss, the Flames are now 3-5 on the campaign. Liberty will continue their Southeastern road swing on Monday, as they open conference play by taking on Big South Conference opponent UNC Asheville in Asheville, N.C. Match time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
