Liberty juniors Carol Jefferson and Josh McDougal have been named the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Women's and Men's Indoor Track Athletes of the Week, respectively, after both enjoyed record-setting 5,000-meter races in Boston over the weekend.

Her time was good for 10th place in the race which concluded the indoor portion of her track schedule.

McDougal (Peru, N.Y.), the Big South Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for the third time this season, raced to a 13:37.32 clocking in the 5,000 meters at the IC4A Championships on Sunday, establishing new Liberty, Big South, IC4A and Boston University facility records.
