A Look at Liberty
Looking to begin Big South action with a 3-0 record, the Liberty women's soccer team squared off with UNC Asheville, Wednesday afternoon, at Greenwood Field. Despite the Lady Flames outshooting the Bulldogs, 35-9, the matchup went to double overtime, ending in a scoreless tie.
Liberty remains unbeaten against Asheville since 2005, going 7-0-3 during the span. Goalkeeper Holly Van Noord picked up her eighth shutout of the season, collecting three saves.
