Following two-straight home games, the Flames will hit the road for the second time this season when they travel to the Commonwealth's capital to face No. 23/20 Richmond on Saturday.

Following the Flames' final full practice on Thursday before their road trip to Richmond, LFSN reporter Nick Pierce had one last chance to talk with Flames' Head Coach Turner Gill.

Liberty enters the game with a 2-1 record following convincing back-to-back victories at home over Monmouth (45-15) and Morgan State (38-10). The Spiders have suffered consecutive road losses at N.C. State (21-23) and Big South foe Gardner-Webb (10-12) and are 1-2 on the season.

The contest will pit Liberty's nationally ranked passing defense against Richmond's nationally ranked passing offense. The Spiders enter the game ranked No. 10 in the country in passing offense (313.7 passing yards per game), while the Flames' defense ranks No. 13 nationally in passing yards allowed (138.3 per game).

Kickoff from inside Robins Stadium is set for 6:07 p.m. and the game will be televised on the newly expanded Liberty Flames Sports Network. For more information about the game, visit Liberty's Game Day Central page.
