Liberty to Host Kent State Watch Party

Flames Nation fans unable to travel to Kent, Ohio, on Thursday evening to see Liberty open its 2013 football season against Kent State will be able to gather in the Vines Center for an official athletics department watch party.

Doors to the Vines Center will open at 5 p.m. and the season-opening game kicks off at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to both Liberty University students and the general public.

The broadcast will air on ESPN3 and be shown on the center hung scoreboard in the Vines Center. The cheerleaders and Sparky will be in attendance at this free event.

Liberty Athletics will hold pre-game activities, as well as, promotions during broadcasting breaks, giving away lots of free Liberty Athletics items.

Posters will also be available during the watch party and will be made available free of charge.
