1973 Football Team Reunion Set for Home Opener
As part of its "40 Years of Football" celebration, the Liberty University Athletics Department will host a reunion of the 1973 football team during the weekend of its home-opening football game against Monmouth on Sept. 7.
The 1973 football team reunion dinner will be held on Sept. 6 in the Donor Room of the Williams Football Operations Center. The dinner is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are now available for purchase for any former players, coaches and support staff personnel affiliated with the 1973 team.
The dinner's ticket prices have been set at $25 per person. The deadline to purchase tickets for this event is 5 p.m. (EST) on Aug. 30.
The 1973 team will also be recognized during the Flames' 2013 home opener against future Big South foe Monmouth the next evening. Kickoff for the Sept. 7 game is slated for 7 p.m. at Williams Stadium.
With the purchase of a ticket for the reunion dinner, participants will also be provided preferred seating for the home-opening football game and parking.
