Old Dominion holds a three-stroke lead over VCU after shooting a 572 in two rounds on the first day of play on Monday at West Florida's Argonaut Invitational at the Pensacola Golf Club in Pensacola, Fla.

Wichita State, Belmont and host West Florida are nine-strokes off the lead in a tie for third place after each shot 581.

Ryan Spears of Wichita State, Matt Watson of Old Dominion and Rafael Campos of VCU all share a piece of the individual lead after shooting 5-under par through the first two rounds. Nicholas Smith of Florida State, who played as and individual, is in fourth place at 3-under par.

Liberty finished the first day 10th out of 15 teams as they finished at 597. The Flames were led by Josh Bain and Stephen Hawk, who both finished day one tied for 18th at 2-over par. Jay Calvo finished day one tied for 40th at 6-over par. Peter Horstman and Michael Turner round out the Flames five tied for 72nd at 17-over par.

Danny Amundson of Belmont recorded a hole-in-one on the par-three 18th hole.

The tournament will conclude with the final 18 holes of competition on Tuesday at the par-72, 6,815-yard Pensacola Golf Club in Pensacola, Fla.
