The Liberty men's soccer team will hold walk-on tryouts on March 5, 2014 at 2:45 p.m. on the soccer practice field, located across from Osborne stadium and behind the Hancock Visitors Center. THE TRYOUT IS FOR CURRENTLY ENROLLED LIBERTY STUDENTS ONLY.

There will be no tryouts in the fall due to the NCAA changing the men's soccer calendar and requiring all men's teams to start a week earlier. All players interested must email their fall intramural schedule to ajmadero@liberty.edu once they get on a team so they can be evaluated prior to the spring semester.

All forms to be filled out and other pertinent information is obtainable by clicking here. These forms are the only ones which will be accepted in order to try out. The forms may also be obtained by going to the Athletics Tryout Information page of LibertyFlames.com.

All students who try out must have an "athletic related physical" completed and cleared by the doctor in order to participate in athletic related activity. In addition, they must also have a sickle cell test in order to tryout as part of their physical along with proof of current health insurance.

All the paperwork from the physical completed by a doctor along with a copy of a current insurance card and a complete Walk-On Liability/Waiver form must be emailed to Assistant Athletic Trainer Dan Pruesser by Friday, Feb 28 so he can review all your paperwork in order to confirm that you can tryout.

All players must have the appropriate soccer gear, including soccer cleats and shin guards.

It is suggested that those wishing to participate arrive 15 minutes before the tryout.
