From the newly remodeled and expanded press box overlooking North Carolina A&T's Aggie Stadium, LibertyFlames.com will provide live blog coverage of all three days of the 2013 NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round meet.

Twelve will be the magic number, as that many competitors in each event will earn the right to compete in the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, June 5-8 in Eugene, Ore.

Seven of Liberty's 13 athletes at this meet will compete today. Here's how the Flames' schedule breaks down.

1 p.m. – Men's Long Jump (Aaron Johnson)
3:30 p.m. – Women's Discus (Mychelle Cumings, Jennifer Nicholson and Jocelyn Williams)
4:30 p.m. – Men's Pole Vault (Cody Bingham)
5 p.m. – Men's 400 Hurdles First Round (Andre Washington)
6 p.m. – Men's 1,500 First Round (Isaac Wendland)

I will once again use the interactive CoveritLive blog interface. This format allows readers to submit comments and questions throughout the day, as you track your favorite Flames and Lady Flames' progress.

Without further ado, go Liberty!
