Promotions Set for West Virginia Baseball Series

The Flames will step out of conference play this weekend and host Big 12 opponent West Virginia for a three-game series at the new Liberty Baseball Stadium.

Fans attending Friday night's series opener will be entertained throughout the evening by Myron Noodleman, who is known as the "Clown Prince of Baseball." (www.myronnoodleman.com). First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Prior to the beginning of Saturday's afternoon game at 4 p.m., fans can cheer Liberty's football team on at the annual Spring Football Game at Williams Stadium. The intrasquad scrimmage is free of charge and open to the public. During the game, fans will have the opportunity to purchase new and used authentic Liberty football team gear (game day jerseys, Nike team polo shirts, sweatshirts, travel bags, etc.) at the Flames Football Yard Sale.

On Sunday, the first 1,000 fans through the Liberty Baseball Stadium gates for the West Virginia series finale will receive free "Flame Train" sunglasses.  First pitch is set for 2 p.m.
