The Liberty Flames will be looking for back-to-back Big South Conference wins on Wednesday, when the Campbell Camels visit the Hershey-Esbenshade Tennis Courts for a 2 p.m. match.

Liberty improved to 10-6 overall on the year after a 4-3 win last Thursday at home against Presbyterian College. The win upped the Flames' Big South record to 3-2, which places them fourth in the conference.

Liberty holds a 62-33 record as a team in singles matches on the year. In doubles tilts, the team is a combined 29-15. The Flames are an even 15-15 in Big South singles contests and 11-4 in doubles matches.

The Flames have three singles competitors with double-digit wins so far this season. Shea Thomas leads the group with a dozen wins, while Jorge Azuero and Siim Tuus have 11 and 10 victories, respectively. Three more Flames, Egon Samaai, Stan Vaughan, and Dillon Segur, have notched eight singles wins apiece on the year.

Liberty's No. 1 doubles tandem of Thomas and Samaai has been strong in Big South matches, winning three of four contests. Thomas and Samaai have an 11-5 mark overall on the year. Azuero and Segur are 9-3 as a doubles pair, with each of their wins coming in the No. 2 position. Tuus and freshman Guillem Secanell have won each of their three matches on the season in the No. 3 spot.

Campbell enters tomorrow's match with wins in seven out of its last eight matches. The Camels' lone loss during that span came last Tuesday at Coastal Carolina, 4-3. Campbell is 10-5 overall and sits in second place in the Big South with a 5-1 mark.

In singles play, the Camels are led by Fernando Guillen, who is ranked No. 90 in the country. The junior is 12-3 overall on the year and a perfect 6-0 in conference matches. Rik Van Gerwen and Josep Baro are second and third on the squad with 10-3 and 9-3 records, respectively.

The doubles combination of Guillen and Adrien Rossingnon are a team-best 7-1 on the season, competing in the No. 1 position. In the No. 2 spot, Baro and David Clavera are 7-2 overall. Both tandems are 5-1 apiece in Big South action.

As a team, Campbell is 52-34 (21-15 Big South) in singles tilts and 24-14 (13-5 Big South) in doubles contests.

Next up, Liberty continues Big South competition this weekend with a road match at Radford on Saturday and a home contest against conference leader Coastal Carolina on Sunday. Both matches are slated to begin at 1 p.m.
